As Horizon West continues to boom, opportunities for larger homesites are becoming scarce. A new proposal, however, may bring something different to the area.

Z Development Services, representing Horizon West Investment Group, has filed plans with Orange County for 40 single-family homes on nearly 100 acres along Old YMCA Road. Most of the homesites would range from half an acre to one acre, with a few stretching over an acre in size. Roughly 67 acres of the land would remain as open space, wetlands, or stormwater areas — ensuring plenty of green surroundings.

Big moves are underway in Osceola County, where the thriving NeoCity technology district is officially expanding south into St. Cloud. The county has announced plans to launch a second major tech and business hub called “NeoCity South”, located on 323 acres off Cross Prairie Parkway at the new W. Nolte Road interchange with Florida’s Turnpike, expected to open in 2028.

The developer behind Margaritaville Resort Orlando is moving forward with plans to expand the resort with additional hotel rooms and vacation homes in the final phase of this landmark project, which has played a major role in revitalizing Kissimmee’s W192 tourism corridor.
