As Horizon West continues to boom, opportunities for larger homesites are becoming scarce. A new proposal, however, may bring something different to the area.

Z Development Services, representing Horizon West Investment Group, has filed plans with Orange County for 40 single-family homes on nearly 100 acres along Old YMCA Road. Most of the homesites would range from half an acre to one acre, with a few stretching over an acre in size. Roughly 67 acres of the land would remain as open space, wetlands, or stormwater areas — ensuring plenty of green surroundings.
